My name is Kate Cox. I’m a commercial producer and founder of Cox + Co. I provide production services in the South Island for all kinds of big, small, complex, beautiful and quirky visual stories.

I love making commercials, videos and photography for my clients along with the help of my large network of trusted collaborators.

A fixer by nature, I can assemble the best crew in town to get your project off the ground.

I’m based in Christchurch, but happy to meet the road less traveled for a journey better spent.

After starting out as a broadcast journalist, over time I became more fascinated with soft stories than hard news. I’ve spent 15 years working as a producer making small screen production and photography in Christchurch, from fast-paced television to emotive adverts and immersive brand content.

In another life I worked at a large creative agency commissioning small and large-scale budgets for video and photography and before that I was a kids TV producer. Today I freelance for a variety of production houses and creative agencies. I’m boots on, in the details, looking for perspective and meaning, and having fun along the way.
